Havn't been able to do anything much on the designing front of things recently sinse no external hard drive means no space for software on my already full laptop hard drive and desktop pc drives. Ordered myself a 200GB Seagate Barracuda and a new Icy Box external enclosure, should be here early next week and I'll be back up and running.

Planning on a barn conversion AutoCad model/Viz rendering and flythough. It'll be of one of the barns on my dads farm which I am planning to actually convert into my home within the next 5 yrs. Due to the rediculous house prices here in britain I could make a modern, open plan, mininalstic house out of it for a fraction on the price. Will go out in the cold and measure the barn in the next week or so, so I can get started.

Been waiting for the replacement of my Western Digital Caviar 200GB Hard Drive to arrive (I've had 2 fail now in just over a year, and as they were still under warranty just sent off for new one). It finally arrived yesterday and lasted a whole 1 minute before frying, don't know if it's something to do with the external HD enclosure i'm using or the HD itself. Think i'd better invest in a new enclosure before the next one comes to make sure. Well it seriously pi**ed me off (was hoping to save everything i've got scattered accross 2 pc's back onto that one central hd so i could install vista beta 1) spose it's just another £10 postage and 2 weeks wait.

Wish i went for Seagate............

WindowBlind 5 Beta is here, Vista Aero anyone. Unfortunately don't use any other product from Stardock, so i'm not going to fork out more than £30 for ObjectDesktop just for a Beta. Will have to wait untill it's full release, but wheeeeeen is that going to be?

The new skins for Version 5 are appearing and are looking sweet as. Full on vista style desktops are now possible with semi transparent borders (have been trying to make 1 for WB 4.6 but concluded that it was imposible due to the use of Bmp which only supports full or no transparency) Closest theme for WindowBlinds 4.6 is [link] By RazioXe, but if u want to use a different wallpaper the taskbar will need modding.

Time, time, time. Just aint got enough of the stuff. Havn't had...... yup u guessed it time, to start on any of the projects i was hoping to get started on. Hardly touched a pc outside of work (from where i'm writing this) only to watch couple of movies and listen to a bit of music. And won't for the next few weeks either. So we'll have to see what happens after that. Just got photoshop CS 9.0 though, so i'll have a look at the new features in a fdew weeks and get started on some skinning, modding and creating.

Home Laptop not working at the moment. Will need a full reinstall. Formatted it last night, so should have it all back how I like it by fri.

Despirately need a new PC, Laptop just can't keep up with the amount I use it. Money for the new PC is another matter. Oh well, will be able to get back to designing Friday.
